Connection Client must always be connected?

Our organization switched all products to Connect Edition. All users must now connect via Connection Client (CC). The feedback from users is disastrous. There is no understanding that the CC must always be connected. There is no Internet on end devices without a VPN connection. This means that the CC immediately appears with an error message. Unimaginable, if every application would bring such a function. The goal should be that the Connection Client only connects when users actually start a Bentley application. Please implement this in one of the next CC versions or show us how to configure the existing CC like this.
